Ardgartan Trail Race
7th February 2026
Ardgartan Trail Race is a 21mileish foot race held at Ardgartan Forest Park and follows a loop of the Ardgartan Peninsula, with some tarmac, forestry trails, hills and waterfalls a plenty.
Cateran Trail
9th May 2026
Follow the old drove roads and ancient tracks used by the Caterans – the fearsome cattle thieves who raided Starthardle, Glenshee and Glen Isla from the middle ages to the 17th century and from whom the trail is named. 55 miles and 7,450ft.
Glen Lyon
6-7th June 2026
The Glen Lyon Ultra Marathon and Trail Race take place in the Perthshire hills in Glen Lyon and Glen Lochay. The races offer a great introduction to trail and ultra running with distances of 31 miles and 15.5 miles and feature 6 river crossings!
By Way of The Glen
3rd July 2026
By Way of the Glen is a 170 mile foot race between Glasgow and Inverness, travelling along two of Scotland most stunning iconic long distance routes, the West Highland Way and the Great Glen Way.
Great Glen
4th July 2026
The Great Glen Ultra Marathon follows the Great Glen Way between Fort William and Inverness. Featuring stunning views of Loch Ness and the surrounding hills and mountains, the race finishes with a lap of the 400m track at Inverness Athletics Stadium. 73 and 42 mile options available.
Highlander LOS
19th July 2025
The Highlander Last One Standing is set in the stunning Blair Castle Estate, Blair Atholl. Runners have to complete a 4.167 mile loop every hour, on the hour until there is only one left standing.
Glenmore
6-7th September 2025
The Glenmore 24 is Scotland’s 24 Hour Trail Race. Taking place in Glenmore Forest outside Aviemore, runners must see how many laps of the four mile trail they can complete in 24 hours. A 12 hour race option is also available.
Glen Ogle
1st November 2025
The Glen Ogle 33 Ultra Marathon is the perfect end of year race for ultra newcomers or seasoned veterans alike. The 31-33 mile route starts and finishes in Killin and takes in the amazing Glen Ogle viaduct and views of Loch Earn with around 3,000ft elevation.
